How p2p cloud can help to simplify the configuration? The concept is like this, for the camera with cloud p2p technology, once the camera is connected with internet, the camera will talk to the cloud. The Camera asks the cloud to help automatically resolve dynamic addressing, NAT traverse etc, depicted as below:
So as you can see with the help of cloud p2p technology, all the complex settings are simplified to automatically done. End users don't need to care about this. The current process is like the right side.

View cameras using P2P cloud
When user try to view his camera on his mobile phone, the HiKam mobile app enquiries p2p Cloud about "where is this camera?" , and "ask the camera to get ready for sending video to this phone". P2P Cloud completes the procedure as the following diagram:
1) P2P Cloud Reply HiKam mobile app with camera address, as camera already register its address in P2P Cloud.
2) P2P Cloud request camera to get ready for sending video, tell camera the mobile phone address, and cooperate with camera to complete NAT traverse.
3) P2P Cloud says OK to both mobile app and camera, camera start sending video to mobile phone. Here, the video is sent directly from camera to phone, P2P Cloud is not involved. P2P Cloud DOESNOT touch the video.
